Terms of Service for MDM 840

Welcome to MDM 840. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MDM 840 mobile application (the "App"), created and maintained by PRIME HOUSE.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
MDM 840 is an educational utility application designed to help school staff, headmasters, and teachers manage daily records, ration stock, and generate reports for the Mid Day Meal (शालेय पोषण आहार) scheme.
2. User Accounts and Profile Validity
To use the App, you must provide accurate profile information, including your School Name, UDISE Number, and Contact details.
Profile Validity: Access to the App's core features requires an active "Profile Validity Period."
Accuracy: You are solely responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you enter into the App. We are not responsible for errors in your generated PDF reports caused by incorrect data entry.
3. Subscriptions and Payments (Razorpay)
To activate or extend your Profile Validity Period, the App requires a subscription payment processed securely through Razorpay.
Pricing: Subscription fees are subject to change, but any changes will only apply to future renewal periods, not your current active period.
Refund Policy: Because the App provides immediate access to digital utilities and report generation, all subscription payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
4. Data Storage, Google Drive Backup, and Data Loss
The App utilizes a "Local-First" architecture.
Your Responsibility: All daily operational data is stored locally on your device. You are entirely responsible for your data.
Google Drive Integration: The App provides a feature to back up your data to your personal Google Drive account using the Google Drive API. We do not have access to your Google Drive or your backup files.
Limitation of Liability for Data Loss: We are not liable for any loss of data due to phone formatting, app uninstallation, device loss, or accidental deletion of your Google Drive backup files. It is your responsibility to frequently back up your data using the provided feature.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App in any way that:
Violates any applicable local, state, or national laws (including government data management guidelines).
Attempts to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App's security or payment gateways.
Uses the App for any purpose other than its intended educational and utility functions.
6. Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services (such as Google Play Services, Google Drive API, and Razorpay). Your use of these features is also subject to the respective terms and conditions of these third parties. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the App's operation, accuracy of calculations, or uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee that the App will meet your specific requirements or that any errors will be corrected immediately.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PRIME HOUSE be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your consent to the new Terms.
